#1. Romance & Culinary Delights at the Garden of the Gods

#3. Cripple Creek Ice Festival
If you’re willing to venture a little further from Colorado Springs, come watch ice sculptors carve ice into beautiful and amazing works of art at the Cripple Creek Ice Festival. You’ll each get to vote for your favorite design.
The free 2020 event will be held February 8th – 16th in Cripple Creek and each day the carvers will slowly create their ice designs.
The sculptures will be lit up at night, if you want to make it Valentine’s date. Street vendors will provide mementos for your visit, and you can warm up together in the heated beer tent.
#4. Dining, Dancing & A Starlit Horseback Ride
Another option if you’re willing to venture out a bit from Colorado Springs, is a romantic evening at the historic M Lazy C Ranch including a delicious candlelit dinner, live music, and dancing, followed by a starlit horse-drawn carriage ride through the snow.
The ranch is located off highway 24 in Lake George, Colorado, and is about an hour’s drive from Colorado Springs. They have cabins for rent as well as RV hookups and campsites, if you and your sweetheart want to stay the night for Valentine’s getaway.
#5. Valentine’s Day Tea at Miramont Castle
The Miramont Castle is a stunning place to treat your significant other for Valentine’s Day. The castle is tucked away in the hillside of Manitou Springs, just a short drive away from Colorado Springs.
Complete with lace tablecloths and delicate china, you and your sweetheart will feel like royalty in the Queen’s Parlour. You’ll get to sip on multiple types of tea and other tasty treats. The high tea is held twice a day on February 13th – 17th.
